National park and wildlife reserve area is mainly covered by Sal forest with the balance a mixture of grassland, savannah and riverine forest. It is here that visitors get sight of most wildlife.  In Nepal mostly there are two different national parks lies south part of Nepal, which we use for Jungle safari trip, these are:

1. Chitwan National Park: The total area of this national park is 932sq.km, established on1973. One Horned Rhinoceros, leopard, sloth bear, gaur, 400 types of birds, and 50 types of mammals, monkeys, butterflies and Royal Bengal Tiger are the main attraction to see in this national park as well as Tharu (Local group) culture. 5 hrs drives from Pokhara or Kathmandu and 30 min flight from Kathmandu you will get there.

2. Bardia National Park: This Park lies in the mid-far western region of Nepal and is the largest most unspoilt wilderness is in the Terai. The total area of this national park is 968sq.km, established on1975. One Horned Rhinoceros, leopard, wild elephant, sloth bear, gaur, and 260 types of birds, 30 types of mammals, Crocodiles, monkeys, butterflies and Royal Bengal Tiger are the main attraction to see in this national park. You can get there by drive 575km or fly to Nepaljung from Kathmandu and drive 85km into national park.
